Volunteer Opportunities From: United Way Weld County

Volunteer: Meal Delivery - Johnstown / Milliken

Enjoy a drive around the Johnstown/Milliken community and brighten the day of some neighbors!

Delivery drivers pick up meal bags from our staff at the Kaiser Permanente Loveland Medical Center parking lot (east end of the lot) and deliver them to neighbors who need nutritious meals. Training is provided and routes are designed to be user-friendly.

This is a great family opportunity. All ages welcome, but children must be accompanied by an adult. Background check required. No minimum/ongoing commitment required - we are grateful for your help as often as volunteering fits into your schedule.

“I can’t say enough about Project Angel Heart. During chemo, I struggled so much. I started receiving Project Angel Heart meals, though, and everything changed. I had more energy, I slept better. I was finally getting what my body needed to get through the treatment. Thank you, thank you!” - Elizabeth, age 58, living with cancer
