Blind Date with a Book Volunteer Opportunity!

We’re looking for volunteers on May 16th from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the ReStore to help bring a fun and creative project to life. Volunteers will assist with wrapping and preparing books for our Blind Date with a Book display, helping get everything ready for in store launch.

Books will be available for purchase in store soon, giving customers a unique way to discover their next great read while supporting Habitat for Humanity.

No experience needed, just bring your creativity, energy, and willingness to help make this project a success!

In just four impactful hours, you’ll work alongside our skilled construction crew, contributing to projects such as framing walls, installing windows, and helping bring safe, affordable housing to life at Hope Springs, the largest Habitat for Humanity development in the western United States.

Day-before setup volunteers play an important role in preparing the space for the Building Impact Breakfast. Responsibilities include arranging tables and chairs, setting up décor and signage, and placing event materials throughout the venue. This behind-the-scenes support helps ensure the space is organized, welcoming, and ready for guests upon arrival.

Your assistance directly supports the success of the event and advances the mission of Greeley-Weld Habitat for Humanity. By helping create a thoughtful and well-prepared environment, volunteers make a meaningful impact before the first guest even arrives, contributing to a smooth and inspiring event experience.

Volunteers are essential to the success of the Building Impact Breakfast, supporting the event before it begins, during the program, and as it concludes. Responsibilities may include warmly welcoming guests, assisting with registration and seating, providing support to speakers and staff as needed, and helping with teardown and cleanup after the event.
