The School Food Specialist Pre-Apprenticeship is a paid professional development opportunity that gives you an entry point to a meaningful career in healthy, scratch-cooked school food. You will spend three weeks developing your culinary skills and school food knowledge through virtual and work-based program components at Greeley-Evans School District 6. The Pre-Apprenticeship culminates in a job interview with the host school district and, if you gain employment, you can apply for the nine-month School Food Specialist Apprenticeship, which offers 31 college credits through Emily Griffith Technical College and a $2,500 stipend.
