The purpose of this volunteer position is to help support United Way's Building Blocks event. This event welcomes early childhood leaders and directors to attend professional development course opportunities to allow them to receive and maintain childcare licensure and attain higher ratings within it.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Regsistration and check in the day of - support United Way staff with checking in attendees and service providers
- Tear down the evening after - taking down set up banners, tablecloths, tables, and handouts
- May also include helping unload everything into the UNited Way main office (814 9th St)
Qualifications
- Good communication skills
- Good organizational skills
- Interested in the efforts of Reading Great by 8 and childcare providers
- Good problem solver
