Good Neighbor Clean-up in Greeley/Evans

Expired

Description

Volunteers are needed to help canvas areas in the Greeley/Evans community to pick up any litter and trash in locations in close proximity to frequently utilized resources by individuals experiencing housing instability, such as the Housing Navigation Center and downtown area. As an effort to help address stigmas and misconceptions of those experiencing housing instability.

This is a great team building project for organizations and also a great way to learn more about the HNC as a resource facility.

The Housing Navigation Center is a resource hub for those experiencing housing instability and homelessness in Weld County. We remove barriers by bringing services to people in our space and by connecting them to other agencies and their resources. From November 1st to April 15th we also operate the cold weather shelter. The Housing Navigation Center is part of a community wide plan called Weld’s Way Home, an initiative to end homelessness and improve housing instability in Weld County.
