Classroom Assistant Volunteers at the Immigrant and Refugee Center of Northern Colorado, help ELA teachers, Digital Literacy, and Citizenship teachers to manage classes, practice literacy, and aide in classroom group activities. Volunteers will be working with a diverse population with many different languages represented; however all classes are English immersive. Therefore, volunteers do not need to be bilingual. We ask that volunteers commit to one consistent class session per week which are typically 1.5 - 2 hours.
