PURPOSE: To wash, clean out, restock and do safety checks for our small fleet of school buses so they will be clean and safe for transporting students.
We are looking for 12-15 volunteers with a lively team spirit who want to have some fun, and are not afraid of getting a little wet and messy. Volunteers should have a positive attitude and a genuine interest in our mission.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Spray down whole exterior of bus
- Use big scrubber to wash exterior siding
- Use scrub brush to clean tires
- Use rag to clean windows and mirrors
- Move on to the next bus!
- Clean and wipe down seats
- Wipe down and dust driver's cabin
- Use rag to clean windows and mirrors
- Sweep bus floor
- Mop bus floor
- Check and restock emergency kits and other supplies
PHYSICAL AND COGNITIVE REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be able to follow instructions
- Must have upper body mobility and strength needed for reaching high surfaces, scrubbing interior and exterior of buses, restocking supplies and lifting up to 10 lbs.
