Volunteer: Friendly Neighbor ProgramThe Friendly Neighbor Program connects caring volunteers with older adults experiencing loneliness or isolation. Volunteers visit once a week for one hour to provide conversation, companionship, games, reading, and encouragement. Volunteers are supported by a case manager and are not expected to provide caregiving, transportation, or errands. One hour a week can make a meaningful difference in someone’s life.
