Description:

As a Youth Life Skill Curriculum Ambassador, you will help schools and youth-serving organizations discover free, easy-to-use, online video life skill curriculums with interactive games to support positive youth outcomes in Weld County. 

By connecting organizations to free PowerUp Co-Ed or PowerUp Girls for Life curriculums they can use in their own programs and services, you will help youth gain comprehensive life skills that support their well-being and success.



Because life skill education improves positive culture among students and between them and adults, your work will also support those who serve youth and strengthen families and communities.

What You’ll Do:

Introduce Weld County schools and youth organizations (after-school programs, child and family advocacy, summer camps, homeschool, mentor, faith-based, etc.) to our free life skill curriculums using a contact list and written and video introductions that we provide.Reach out by email, phone, or in person to share curriculum information.Advocate for life skill education as a research-backed solution to the unprecedented struggles faced by youth, and to the challenges of serving young people today.Share how to follow up with Youth Empowerment Group with questions or to get started with curriculums.

Impact:

Your outreach will directly increase the number of youths gaining crucial life skills to navigate today’s challenges with confidence.

Time Commitment:

Flexible, approximately 2 to 3 hours per week for 3 months

Location:  

Flexible: this is a hybrid role with your choice of organizational site visit, online, or phone outreach

Training & Support:

We provide training, messaging materials, and ongoing support for a comfortable, straightforward, rewarding experience.

Flexible: Ideally in Weld County to allow for on-site training at youth-serving organizations but online remote training can be done instead.
