Who We Are

Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Denver has been serving northern Colorado since 1927. We serve tens of thousands of people each year in seven ministries: Marisol Services (for women), Early Childhood Education, Shelter Services, Archdiocesan Housing, St. Raphael Counseling, Family, Kinship, and Senior Services; and Parish & Community Services. We also provide disaster relief services, such as those needed during the northern Colorado floods of 2013. Catholic Charities is open to, and serves, all people. Volunteers donated 72,980 hours of their time to serve others through Catholic Charities in our most recent fiscal year. We collaborate with Catholic parishes, local businesses, nonprofit organizations, government agencies, medical facilities and educational institutions.

What We Do

We operate the only shelter in Weld County that provides services to single individuals as well as families. Our residents are matched with a case manager who helps navigate our 120-day Levels Program. Once enrolled, the resident commits to goals that will help obtain stable income and housing. As the resident is receiving help, their spiritual and material needs are met along the way. Our new facility is a comprehensive shelter, with complementary social programs operating all at one location. Volunteers fill a variety of support functions.
