Who We Are
The High Plains Library Foundation is a 501c3 non-profit established to support the High Plains Library District. Our mission is to cultivate information, inspiration and entertainment for our communities by raising funds to sustain and create literacy programs, collection development, technology upgrades and capital improvements for our libraries.
What We Do
The High Plains Library Foundation supports general library services and programs by providing multiple streams of revenue. Last year programs were provided to more than 55,000 community members. Programs range from classics such as Storytime to help for job-seekers in resume building.
Through support for programs such as The Summer Reading Adventure, 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten and many others, the Foundation supports the basic premise that all our neighbors should have access to quality literacy programming. The Foundation allows leadership flexibility to prioritize funding based on changing needs of our community.
