Developed by nonprofit Youth Empowerment Group's mental health, education, and medical experts, video-led lessons and interactive games promote mental, social, and behavioral health, safety, equality, and academic success while building positive culture and belongingness in 5th-12th graders.
This flexible role empowers Weld County organizations to boost positive youth outcomes. It's ideal for volunteers interested in youth education who enjoy presenting information and supporting people.
Description:
As a Youth Life Skill Curriculum Trainer, you will provide brief trainings to help schools and youth-serving organizations effectively and easily implement free PowerUp curriculums—PowerUp Co-Ed and Power Girls for Life.
These video-based online life skill curriculums are designed for flexible, simple use with minimal preparation and supplies, and your support helps ensure confident, impactful delivery.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead brief virtual or onsite trainings for school and youth organization staff (an hour or less)
- Demonstrate online curriculum access, navigation, and use of videos and documents
- Inform them about built-in options for flexible use
- Answer implementation questions and provide encouragement and support
Location:
Flexible: Ideally in Weld County to allow for on-site training at youth-serving organizations but online remote training can be done instead.

By equipping adults who serve youth, you will multiply your impact across many young lives.
Time Commitment:
Flexible, 2 to 4 hours per week for 3 months
