Volunteers are needed for part two of the Teddy Bear Rescue! After these teddy bears have had a few nights of rest after the Colorado Eagles game, they need to be loaded into bags and transported via a truck back to the United Way main office (814 9th Street) where they will relax until the Children's Festival in March!
Volunteers Will:
- Help load teddy bears into bags and then onto a truck
- Travel to the second location (814 9th Street) and help load them into the office
- If you cannot arrive at 1:00, please let Brianna know so she can help coordinate you helping just with the office portion!
- Once teddy bears are driven to their new home, they will be taken inside and to their new storage space in the office.
What We’re Looking For:
- Can climb in and out of a truck independently
- Don’t mind repetitive lifting and carrying
- Flexible
- Great communication
This is more than just moving stuffed animals—these sweet bears will go directly to kids in need in Weld County. What to Wear:
Dress comfy for December! You may be doing a lot of repetitive motion so dress warm but comfortably!Have questions or need a little extra help? Let us know!
Bonus: Earn community service hours for scholarships!
Volunteers under 18 need parent/guardian permission to join.
