The role of the Collective Impact Assistant is to support the efforts of the Collective Impact Coordinator. The Collective Impact Coordinator is the primary force that leads teams that convene collaborative working groups developing trusting relationships with community partners and stakeholders; and works to create an environment where staff and partners use the skills of adaptive leadership, results-based facilitation, ensure coordination and accountability, continuous improvement and addressing disparities to achieve large scale, collective change.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Collective Impact Assistant/Intern

The Collective Impact approach brings together cross-sector leaders and strategically organizes all the relevant groups to solve complex social issues. 

  • Assist the Collective Impact Coordinator with work group meetings that include but are not limited to setting up meeting locations, preparing agendas, scheduling, note taking, maintaining membership contact databases and other materials needed for use during meetings.
  • Provide ongoing communication to build trust, assure mutual objectives to foster the cross-sector alignment, and collaborate to achieve community-level systems change.
  • Assist the Collective Impact Coordinator to recruit, educate, and onboard new community partners into the Collective Impact system; monitor engagement and participation of existing members
  • Oversee data collection among funded partners and support data for continuous learning, adaptation, and improvement.
  • Excellent opportunity to build relationships throughout the community in coordination with the steering committee and workgroup members, seeking to build an inclusive effort that authentically engages and fosters ownership.
  • Attend community impact presentations.
  • Assist the Collective Impact Coordinator with planning, implementation, and review of the Collective Impact annual grant funding process.
  • In partnership with steering committees and workgroups, assists in data research and efforts to implement data-informed improvements and decision-making.

POSITION INFORMATION

  • Commitment is based on the applicant’s internship hour requirements and availability
  • This postion is unpaid unless the individual qualifies for work-study with Aims Community College
  • Reports to: Vice President of Community Impact
  • Location: Greeley, CO (must be willing to travel throughout Weld County)
