Volunteers support the day-to-day operations of the Housing Navigation Center and Overnight Shelter. They help create an organized, welcoming, and supportive environment for both guests and staff.
In this role, you will:
- Commit to a consistent weekly schedule (same day(s) and time(s) of the week)
- Available time frame is 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM Monday through Friday
- Complete a volunteer application and consent to a background check (required)
- Help with guest intake and welcoming visitors
- Sort and organize guest mail alphabetically
- Help organize files and vital documents
- Assist with answering phones and taking messages for staff, as needed
