Navigators are needed to guide guests through the services provided at Weld Project Connect. Navigators are paired one-on-one with a guest. After a brief checklist review with the guest the navigator guides the guest through the event to receive desired services.
Navigators will be required to attend a one hour training session to participate in WPC. An email will be sent to all Navigators with the training dates/times to choose from once they have registered to volunteer. First training date offered is Oct 2.
Training on the day of Weld Project Connect will begin at 10am and will repeat approx. every 30 minutes until no longer needed that day in the 4-H building at Island Grove. Navigators that need training the day of the event can check in starting at 9:45am.
For navigators that receive training prior to WPC, check-in will begin at 10:45am on Friday October 15 at the East end of the 4-H building. Lunch will be provided to all navigators starting at 11am on Friday Oct. 15 in the Exhibition building. Navigator tours of the Service area of the Event Center will be provided to help navigators become familiar with the layout of the event from 11:15-11:45am on the day of the event.
