The Outpatient Infusion Clinic volunteer will assist staff with patient comfort and clinic duties within the scope of a volunteer position. Volunteers will bake cookies and will assist with wheelchair transports to and from the clinic as requested. Wipe /disinfect chairs and pillows after each patient use. Assist the staff with blood transport as needed and after training has been completed. Volunteers will socialize and offer comfort items, such as warm blankets and snacks to patients.
This is a weekly scheduled assignment. We are unable to accommodate drop in or episodic volunteer opportunities.
