Greeley/Evans Point in Time Count 2023

Expired

Description

The Point in Time (PIT) count is an annual survey of individuals experiencing homelessness, to gain a better understanding of resources our community needs.

Volunteer Responsibilities and Duties

PIT count volunteers will canvass Greeley/Evans and approach individuals on the street or at a designated location i.e. Lincoln Park Library, Salvation Army, etc. whom are experiencing homelessness. Volunteers will ask them if they would be willing to complete the Point in Time survey. Volunteers will read each question on the survey to the individual to ensure that it is filled out completely and correctly. Volunteers will complete the PIT survey utilizing the Survey123 app (which must be downloaded to their smart device). Volunteers must agree to canvass the entire area to which they have been assigned, this ensures that the most comprehensive count as possible is completed.

Volunteers are expected to watch the video training sent out after January 12th on how to access the survey app and general protocols for how to respectfully survey people experiencing homelessness prior to their shift on January 25th.
