Your group will cheer runners along the route. Please have only one member sign up.
(If large group, you may be split up into smaller groups if necessary)
Feel free to come in costume or in uniforms for your group.
1. Check in at the volunteer table between by 7:30.
2. You will be directed to meet with Life Stories staff member. After getting your assignment feel free to grab some refreshments and then meet back with the big group at 8 a.m. to ensure we have all spots covered and then proceed to your spots on the route. The race starts at 8:30 a.m.
3. There is a yellow/white numbered sign on your spot on the route.
4. Your job is to direct the race participants if you are at an intersection and cheer them on!
5. Otherwise, be available for people if they have problems and to cheer them on!
6. If a participant has a need for medical attention, please contact the person designated on your call list as the Medical Support Coordinator, or call 911 for major emergencies.
8. When the race is over, someone will be by to let you know, be sure to bring back the numbered course marshal sign and orange vest to the volunteer table and remember to check out before leaving
