As part of our homelessness prevention program we run a hotline that offers rental and utility assistance to those behind on payments in Weld County. Volunteers will be trained by our emergency assistance coordinator. During their shift, volunteers will answer hotline calls, gathering information to complete an application that will be processed by staff. Volunteer advocates are required to pass a background check, take 2-3 shifts per month, and commit at least one year to the program. An application, interview, and background check must be completed.
